Review of the first six years of CCD’s social inclusion programme published

Tackling rural social exclusion is a key part of CCD’s Business Plan. Since 2002, CCD has had a specific Social Inclusion Programme focusing on communities of less than 3,000 people. From 2006- 2008 this has been resourced through DEFRA’s Rural Social Community Programme. This summary provides a review of this work, featuring the achievements and highlights recommendations for the future.
