Wednesday 16th September 2009
10.30 - 3.30pm at Teign Valley Community Hall, Teignbridge
This course will
- Enable you to identify the barriers to long term financial sustainabilty
- Help you explore practical solutions to good financial planning and income generation.
- Allow you to identify how to diversify your funding streams (across donations, grants, service level agreements, contracts, trading and loans)
- Provide an overview of effective Financial management including full cost recovery.
Fund It, Built It
An essential course for communties involved in captial works projects
Thursday 24th September
10.30-3.30pm, Beaford Village Hall, Torridge
This course will:
- Help you to explore external funding opportunities
- Enable you to develop a capital plan
- Check whether your project is investment and financially sustainable
- Develop your skills for writing successful funding bids
- Meet other funders and support agencies
Courses cost £20 per person for DACB member
and £30 for non-members
Lunch and refreshments are provided.
