A workshop on ‘Legacy Giving’ and ‘Trading’

This free workshop is open to all staff in infrastructure organisations in Devon, and voluntary and community sector organisations by invitation. It’s focus is the sustainability of VCS groups.

Trainers Dawn Eckhart and Charlotte Weedon from the Community Council of Devon’s Social Enterprise service will take the workshop. It's aims are to provide a brief overview and taster of:

  • How legacy giving and trading are often overlooked yet potentially invaluable opportunities on the spectrum of funding sources
  • Reviewing the Sustainable Funding model’s income spectrum and how legacies and trading fit alongside more common sources of funding.
  • Top tips for running a Legacy campaign.
  • Trading implications for charities and funding trading activity.
  • Information about the Community Council of Devon’s Social Enterprise services and their free sustainability health-checks.

This event is organised by the Devon Consortium’s Total Support Programme and funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
