• 18 November 2009Update on rural transport: public,community, innovative and Wiltshire examples
  

  CCD Members' Forum had a number of presentations on rural transport in October 2009, including from voluntary and community organisations providing transport, Devon County Council, and from the Rural Community Council in Wiltshire.

  These presentations provide a good overview into rural provision in Devon and some of the new thinking.  A question and answer session is also included in the report.

  About CCD MEMBERS' FORUM

  Full and supporting members are welcome to join CCD's Members' Forum, which meets quarterly.  It has 3 functions:

  • debating the issues affecting people who live in the communities of rural Devon
  • acting as a sounding board for new CCD initiatives and programmes
  • influencing policies and programmes which affect rural Devon
