• Blackdown Support Group
  Established in 1991 the Blackdown Support Group covers 200 square miles. It is a registered charity supported by Devon and Somerset County Councils, Mid Devon and East Devon Social Services, Devon P C T, local District and Parish Councils and its many friends. Anyone can use the Group.

• Bovey Tracey Town Council
  Bovey Tracey is one of the main gateway towns to Dartmoor, with a number of unique visitor attractions and a good mixture of shops. A pretty cob and Dartmoor-granite built town, situated on the River Bovey it is home to the internationally renowned Devon Guild of Craftsmen, based in a 19th century water mill on the river.

• Shaugh Prior Parish Council
  The Parish of Shaugh Prior lies about 8 miles north-east of Plymouth, on the southwest slopes of Dartmoor. Much of the north of the Parish is open moorland, crossed by streams between Dartmoor tors. In former times this area was the scene of mining and quarrying - now it offers outdoor activities and sheep, cattle and Dartmoor pony grazing.
